Hola, blogosphere. I know its been a while since I last rapped at ya. I have a bunch of stuff to post soon -- first off is the coolest new thing on the eBay platform: RSS Feeds. With eBay Stores that enable RSS, you can now subscribe to a feed of the newest items listed in that store. PetriFinds is one of the stores that has turned on the feature already, and you can see the RSS link at the bottom of the store page. Here is the RSS feed link, for the benefit of the truly lazy:
eBay has offered RSS Feeds on the community boards and system announcements for a while, but this is the first time that we have offered feeds on the eBay Platform (by that I mean, feeds that involve items listed on eBay). Third parties like MarketGizmos have offered eBay RSS feeds for some time, and they are a great option now and in the future. We in the eBay Developers Program have a lot more feeds in the planning stages, and we're very excited about being able to bring this technology to the eBay site.
Just do it! I particularly want RSS feeds of new auctions by

It's about time that eBay allowed rss in eBay stores and with them opening their API's for free it's looking good for developers, eBay sellers and customers.

Would it be worth it then to buy ebay affiliate software such as build a niche store, which basically do the same thing(i.e., integrate these feeds into a website)? Thanks.

Sam, I strongly recommend BANS. I'm currently running 103 BANS sites aiming for a $1/day per site. After less than 2 weeks with all 100 sites live, I'm up to about .30/day. VERY easy to use software and it works great!

How to Find Free Items on Craigslist to Resell for Profit on eBay. Step1 Go to the website craigslist.org. Step2 Choose the city closest to you. There is an individual craigslist site for most major cities in the US and Canada. Step3 Look under the FOR SALE section in the middle of the page. There will be a category called FREE. Click on it. Step4 Scan through the items to see what is up for grabs. You'll find everything from fire wood, electronics, furniture, clothing, baby items, and of course, junk. Step5 When you find something that interests you, click on the REPLY TO link and contact the person who placed the ad. Tips & Warnings * Act fast. Free items on Craigslist don't last long. * Check for free items several times a day as new posts can appear any time, 24/7. * You do not need to have a user id on Craigslist to read and reply to the ads. * Avoid being scammed by dealing locally. Don't ever wire or send money to anyone offering anything on Craigslist. Deal with them in person. * Always meet your Craiglist trading partner in public, during the day, in a populated well-lit location. * For your own safety, take someone with you when meeting your Craigslist trading partner. http://tinyurl.com/maxscrazydeals
