At Yahoo! Hack Day Today

I'm going to be hanging out at the Yahoo! Hack Day event today. I'm mostly going for the classes and to meet folks - no way am I spending a night in a tent on the lawn at a corporate office park. I have heard rumors about a big star performing this evening. Lets just say that s/he has made a special guest appearence on Futurama...

Updates to My Yahoo - Nicely Done

I use My Yahoo as my blog reader. I know, I know, its ancient and all, but I can't kick the habit, even though I've tried (Google's reader is nice, but its not there yet). I just noticed that Yahoo rolled out an update to the UI that I really like (I assume that they are rolling it out to everyone, and not just me):

This update appears to address my main gripe about My Yahoo, which is the lack of a preview function for RSS items. I'm OK with going to a blog to read a full post, I just want a preview that gives me a hint of whether or not the post is worth reading.
