eBay Typepad Widget for your Blog

Did you notice the eBay listings on the right-hand side of my blog? You too can get eBay on your Typepad blog by adding this free widget: eBay Auctions by PostApp. The widget displays live eBay search listings -- either from a specific seller or that match a particular search term. I have mine set to search for "XBox 360 Premium."

The widget takes advantage of the new Typepad Widget APIs that were announced yesterday to integrate the content seemlessly with the blog. Before these APIs where available, to add this kind of content to your blog you'd have to cut and paste code, but now to add a widget all you have to do is fill out a form, and then all the data is sent to Typepad. The eBay widget uses the REST API to get the live eBay items. 2 different APIs -- I think that qualifies this for being a mashup... The widget is also available in the Typepad Widget Gallery.
